Limak Cement Group established Limak Cement Global Academy in 2021 as a learning organization to meet the lifelong education needs of all employees, enhance their knowledge, skills, and competencies, and create shared values within the group. As a learning organization, we offer various training opportunities to support the development of our employees.

Achievements and Awards

2024 Gold Stevie Award

In 2024, Limak Cement Academy won the Gold Stevie Award for its gamification project titled ‘Sustainability Learning Journey’. This project was designed to raise awareness about sustainability and was recognized for its innovative training approach and success in enhancing environmental responsibility awareness.

Digitalization of Training Programs: Calculating Carbon Footprint

As Limak Cement Global Academy, we have significantly reduced our carbon footprint by digitizing our face-to-face training programs. In 2024, the carbon emission reduction achieved through our transition to online training formats and the digitalization of training content was measured at approximately 21,358 kg CO2, based on calculations made in partnership with Captanomy. This initiative is regarded as a major success in embracing an environmentally conscious approach in line with our sustainability targets.
