With a long-term strategic vision, our group demonstrates sustainable growth across a wide range of industries, from construction, tourism, and cement to infrastructure and energy investments, energy contracting, aviation, and the food sector. We take great pride in being one of the world’s leading construction groups and representing our country at the highest level on the global stage with our projects, which have a total value exceeding $10 billion in the construction industry. Domestically, we are continuing the construction of Yusufeli Dam in Artvin, Türkiye, the world’s third-highest dam. Internationally, we are building Kuwait International Airport, the largest contract ever awarded to a contractor from our country and set to become one of the most prestigious projects in the world. Since venturing into the tourism sector in 1995, we have grown into one of Türkiye’s largest hotel chains, operating 8 hotels with a total capacity of over 6,000 beds. Since entering the cement industry in 2000, we have grown to become Türkiye’s second-largest cement manufacturer.  

We have strengthened our presence in the cement industry with key investments in Africa, particularly in Côte d'Ivoire and Mozambique. In infrastructure and energy investments, we operate Prishtina International Airport in Kosovo and are among the partners of Istanbul Airport—the world’s largest airport and a source of pride for our country—which commenced operations on October 29, 2018. We are also one of the three operating partners of Ankara High Speed Train Station, which we completed as Türkiye’s first high-speed train station, part of our infrastructure investments, and which opened for service in 2016. We are the investor and operator of LimakPort İskenderun, a strategically important port in the Eastern Mediterranean. The construction of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, set to become the world’s longest suspension bridge with a 2,023-meter span, and the Malkara-Çanakkale Highway Project—awarded to our joint venture—are ongoing. We aim to complete these projects and present them as a gift to our country on the 100th anniversary of the founding of our Republic. 

In the energy sector, we are one of the key players in Türkiye, having achieved vertical integration through operations across all areas of the energy industry. With our investments focused on resource diversity and long-term business plans, we aim to expand our energy production portfolio—currently exceeding 3,500 MW—through hydroelectric, solar, geothermal, natural gas, and coal power plants, to reach the target of 5,000 MW of installed capacity. 

Since entering the food sector in 2008, we are now ranked among the leaders in citrus product processing in Türkiye and export concentrated products to over 32 countries. Additionally, we have been continuing our quality-focused operations in the energy contracting sector since 2013. 

While creating added value to the national economy through our investments, we continue to make a lasting impact with our social benefit-driven initiatives. Within this framework, we strategically manage and direct our social investment activities through the Limak Education, Culture, and Health Foundation, which we established within our group in 2016. 

As Limak Foundation, our core mission is to transform the young and dynamic potential of Türkiye's population into a qualified workforce through sustainable initiatives that support social progress and development. Within this framework, we support the next generation of aspiring engineers through our flagship initiative, Türkiye’s Women Engineers, with the goal of increasing women’s participation in the engineering field. We aim to develop tomorrow's responsible, conscious, informed, and entrepreneurial 'leader' women engineers, equipping them with technical expertise, and preparing them to contribute to both the national and global economy. 

As Limak Foundation, our goal is to make a difference through new national and international partnerships, addressing emerging needs and challenges, while staying attuned to global developments and expanding our social investment portfolio within the framework of new dynamics. In this context, since joining the world’s first Sustainable Development Goals Impact Accelerator (SDGia) in 2018, we have been working to develop solutions for global development challenges in collaboration with the public and private sectors, as well as international non-governmental organizations. Through the first entrepreneurship accelerator program in Türkiye focused on the energy sector, launched within Limak Energy, we create opportunities for developing innovative business ideas to meet the rapidly evolving needs of the industry. Believing that culture and the arts should be accessible to all, we established the Limak Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017 to build unique and meaningful bridges between our rich cultural heritage and the present.
